Community Investment Program

Help Your Community Navigate Today's Drug Landscape

The New Drug Talk
About the Program

We provide up to $500 to help your organization educate California families about today's drug landscape—whether that's covering event costs, providing materials, or both.

Fake prescription pills and powdered drugs made with fentanyl and other dangerous chemicals can show up anywhere—for sale on social media, on campus, at the mall, at a hangout at a neighbor's house—in your community. Teens and young adults need this information and parents want to have these lifesaving conversations but they often don't know where to start. That's where you come in.

We're Offering Up to $500 to Help You With:

Community Film Screenings

We'll cover the costs for you to host a film screening and discussion. Choose from: our 30-minute informational film The New Drug Talk for parents and caregivers, our 20-minute educational film Real Talk About Fake Pills for teens and young adults, or our 15-minute bilingual narrative film La Estrella by and for Latino communities (coming soon).

Awareness and Outreach Materials

Get materials to distribute at your events or display in your community. This includes posters, handouts, postcards and/or swag. We can also help fund banners for athletic venues or community spaces.

Ready to bring these resources to your community?

Whether you're part of a community organization, school, booster club or other group, the application takes just a few minutes, and we'll work with you to make it happen.

$500 limit per organization for film screening and/or materials.
