Communities on the Frontlines: California, DC, and Beyond at the University of California Washington Center (UCDC)

La Nueva Drug Talk, Song for Charlie, and the League of United Latin American Citizens will host Communities on the Frontlines: California, DC, and Beyond at the University of California Washington Center (UCDC). This free, public event will feature a screening of La Estrella, a bilingual short film about love, loss, and resilience amid the fentanyl crisis. The evening will include a panel discussion with frontline leaders, storytellers, and advocates, followed by an open community dialogue focused on healing, prevention, and next steps for action. The event aims to highlight the power of storytelling in advancing prevention, policy, and cultural change.
